Beautiful wedding in a tranquil setting.
Everything was perfect and well organized with good hotel management and welcoming atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble. We arrived Thursday and we were welcomed with outstanding hospitality; clean spacious suite with outstanding dinner by the Michelin star chef, the cod was to die for.
The wedding next day consisted of room service breakfast and Jay the hotel manager/ wedding organizer ensuring everything went smoothly.I did not have to check or worry about a single aspect of the wedding as Jay had it all in hand- world class organisation skills which can be a stressful event went with ease.
The ceremony was held in the conservatory with a violinist playing followed by a wedding breakfast in the main restaurant overlooking the garden.Everything was completed with perfectionism by the whole team at Ox pasture. All of my guests commented that they found the food and service of a high standard, many commented that the beef was fresh and they remarked how beautiful the venue was with the high standard of food; combined with the violinist and pianist playing in the background.
The evening reception again was well organized with a fresh buffet and nothing was too much hassle/trouble for the Ox pasture team.
Will be visiting again at some point,
With thanks
Mrs Redfern

I really can't speak highly enough about this hotel. The staff are all amazing, the Hotel Manager (Jay) is definitely the best I have ever had the privilege of meeting or dealing with, the rooms are excellent, the food was lovely and the venue itself was idyllic. All of this made our weekend away one of the best I've ever had. Thank you so much to Jay and the team, you should all be incredibly proud.

We have just returned from a wedding at the Ox Pasture Hotel and it was AMAZING. Not just the fact my best friend was getting married but the team that made it happen were outstanding. Jay is the most professional manager I have seen, he made the day run so smoothly and was always relaxed and calming. Nothing was too much trouble and you can tell how much he cares about making people's day. To him, everything is a special occasion and everybody is important.

The food was superb, the rooms were clean with four poster beds and lots of character, we couldn't have asked for more.

They even ordered us beautiful weather, which came in abundance.

Breakfast was cooked to order and accompanied by a cold buffet, all fresh and delicious.

A special mention needs to be made to James who it looked like worked everywhere. His service was outstanding and will be remembered for his whit and charm.

Thanks again for a wonderful weekend, we hope to see you again soon.

This is a hidden gem which despite having a superb a la carte cuisine menu is not at all pretentious. Since we visited for the second time last July for our Anniversary I believe the chef has changed and it is now Michelin standard. The price, setting and overall ambience is superb and in our opinion it is the best hotel of its kind in Yorkshire.
We are just about to book again to repeat the experience.

Room Tip: main rooms on one level set around beautiful courtyard. New rooms in separate block have been added fairly recently
