“Lovely quiet location”

Everything you need for a self catering holiday, lovely quiet location. Car is essential.
Some lovely touches though - fresh flowers, card and cream tea on arrival. It is tucked away in the Devon country side, plus they allow dogs. Sat eating breakfast watching the array of birds, many we hadn't seen before.
However, please be aware though, that it is not mobility or wheelchair friendly as stated on the website. Vera is going to update this information.
All in all a lovely stay.

“Perfect home from home in just the most delightful setting.”
Reviewed 14 January 2015 for a stay in August 2014

We arrived, after driving from Scotland, to find a beautiful cream tea waiting in the most charming setting. What a welcome!

Our children were 4 and 6 at the time of our visit and the house was ideal for us. The space was perfect, comfortable, spotless and very well furnished with everything we needed, including decent wi-fi.

Of particular note is the chicken coop(a source of much excitement amongst the younger members of our party) and the beautiful fruit and vegetable garden.

The cottage is within easy reach of Exeter, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth, with all that the surrounding area offers to holidaymakers of all ages.

A really great place to stay with a family. Highly recommended!

“Lovely 2 bed cottage, all mod cons and very welcoming owners”

A very pleasant and quiet cottage with two good double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Spacious and nicely equipped. Some lovely touches - fresh flowers, card and cream tea on arrival. Tucked away in the Devon country side - good local walks but easy to get to the coast and travel to Exeter etc. Car essential. We very much enjoyed our 4 night stay - the owners who live adjacent were very pleasant and helpful but also left us to it - perfect.
