Very strange experience when we stopped here for 5 portions of chips for lunch to takeaway, they served them in bags but as we wanted to eat them on the seafront we asked for them wrapped and with salt and vinegar, this apparently couldnt be done by the man serving, as his boss would go mad if he put the salt and vinegar on for us, this meant we had to to take each bag of chips to another counter, put the salt and vinegar on then hand them back to be wrapped. what a complete waste of time! After all that the chips were small, hard and tasteless. would not recommend.

Ordered fish and chips for two to eat in. We were told that once they were ready they would shout out our order number and you had to collect it from the counter. Whilst waiting, we heard them shout out a number, but it was quietly said and did not sound like ours. We then realised that no one had collected the order and they had not shouted it out again, so it was sat there going cold. Believing it wasn't ours, we double checked with them anyway, only to discover it was ours! The mushy peas weren't warm, the fish was nice, but the chips could have been better. We will not go here again when in town due to this out of date system, what happens if you have hearing difficulties? We weren't sat that far away! Also, they do not accept card payment, so be aware.

When in area usually go to Frydays in Seaton, wish we still had.
Good price OAPs special but that is in my opinion where “good” finishes.
Awful greasy batter, funny tasting Haddock, unpleasant chips with quite a few green and black ones!
Cheap ketchup and Tartar Sauce etc.
Guy serving in takeaway part eating whilst serving.
Will be avoiding and suggest you do too.

Fish was nice. Sausages were reheated. Chips OK but served in tall bags, so too much s & v at top, none at the bottom!

We had a takeaway here over the weekend; tasted great, very reasonably prices, if you have to pick a hole then it's about slow, but it's cooked to order iguess. They've done a good job here!
