Recently visited on Mother's Day for the set menu they were offering.
We were welcomed and taken to our seat, drinks order taken, we received the wrong order - 5 drinks for 4 people. One of our group claimed the extra drink despite it not being ordered, out of politeness.
The waitress serving us also took our food order at the same point of taking our drinks order. At this point she seemed disinterested as each of our party had to repeat their order at least once for each course.
We received our starters very quickly, which were perfect, as ordered and very tasty. It was when the main course came that an issue arose. 2 of the 4 meals were the same order barring sauce, however they were differently presented and one had extra items (had one been unfinished at the kitchen pass?).
Throughout the meal, the serving staff were trying to clear side plates from our table, reaching over our shoulders and plates as we were trying to eat, which I found highly disrespectful.
Desserts were ordered, which came out quickly again but were not given to the correct people, we sorted these out between ourselves and enjoyed the quality of the food again.
All 3 courses were very good quality and value for money.
The bill came out, which was incorrect, they were charging for extra items which weren't ordered. I queried this with the waitress who claimed I was in the wrong, before reluctantly correcting to bill to the correct value it should have been.
While I understand the restaurant was fairly busy being Mother's Day, the level of service received could have been greatly improved with basic personal skills of listening and respecting people while they are eating.
