Clean and tidy rooms, extremely pleasant staff. Really enjoyed my stay. A little isolated, but taxis were easy to arrange and the area surrounding it was quiet. Stores and restaurants nearby, if you didn't want to eat at the hotel.

We stayed for one night and had a nice relaxing time. The staff were excellent and extremely friendly. Check in and check out was quick and easy. There was a reasonable selection for breakfast and everything was well stocked. The Room was clean and spacious. Would stay again if I was in the area and needed a night stop.

Stayed here a few times and always very good. The staff are particularly good. The rooms are very comfortable with new beds and power showers. Lovely breakfast. Good pub next door and Aldi opposite. Will be back.

Our second visit in three years. Again I have given it 5 stars. It is still spotlessly clean, comfy bed, nice breakfast and reasonably priced.

There is a nice pub across the road for meals as an alternative to eating in the hotel. Also an Aldi for any provisions.

Only negative on this visit was that it was very hot and stuffy in the room, the air con didn't seem to be throwing anything out and the windows are unable to be opened.

Would definitely stay again if in this area.

Stayed for 3 nights at this hotel, rooms lovely and clean, bed could be better, staff brilliant special call to the chef who sorts all the breakfasts absolutely lovely and the blonde waitress who was so pleasant and the reception staff were professional and friendly. There was also a cleaner who diligently looked after her duties thoroughly. It is a good place to visit Sheffield and Barnsley(don’t go). Value for money and if you book in advance means you can have a really value stay. Close to east Pennine cycle route and RSPB Park. Local rugby team play 10 mins walk away.
