Everything was excellent. A warm welcome and being shown the room set the scene. Lovely room, comfortable bed and great shower. A quiet nights undisturbed sleep. It doesn't get better. Or does it. Wonderful food, including a freshly cooked breakfast with local lincolnshire produce. And its only a short 1 minute walk to the high street. And a sunday night stay is great value for money. Hope to return for a more relaxing break as this was just a short one night stop over on our way further north.

We were thrilled with the service and the accommodation at The Crown. Jo at reception made us feel immediately welcome. Nothing was a problem to the staff and they were most courteous and helpful throughout the stay.
The breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were beautiful. It is a fabulous place to stay for exploring Stamford and the surrounding area.

This is not an over the top posh eatery, just a great atmosphere with friendly staff and fabulous food and service. The fish curry is to die for, yet the prices are reasonable. This pub / restaurant is highly recommended and well worth a visit!

The three rooms we saw were well sized in perfect order. Bathroom was clean with good shower. Room was quiet despite it being a busy town. Well located for shops and sights.Good friendly reception and gated car park means available parking not hijacked by non residents. Have wipes as pigeons deposit on cars even when you are not under the trees with the warning signs.

Room Tip: rooms in main building. annex rooms have lower ceilings
