We stayed here whilst visiting a relative in hospital and I can truthfully say that the staff are extremely friendly and cant do enough to make your stay a good one. I will definately be recommending it to all my friends and when we travel in future this will be our hotel of choice. The room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The nearby Rhubarb Pub has a nice relaxing atmosphere with happy friendly staff and great food. This made an unhappy situation a whole lot more bearable. I cant recommmend it enough!

Room Tip: Rooms are cheaper if booked on the internet

We stayed two nights here and then a night at a Travelodge in Sheffield, and the Premier Inn wins hands down in almost every department.

Our welcome was warm and friendly, and our room spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bed was comfy, with 2 generously filled pillows each. Proper WHITE towels too - one of my bugbears is grey towels that are supposed to be white. Imperial Leather soap and shower gel if you don't have your own with you.

Situated in a small business park, his Premier Inn is a brisk 20 to 25 minutes walk from the town centre. However, there's a Brewer's Fayre and an Indian Restaurant on the doorstop should you not wish to go into town to eat. We took a taxi ride into town on one occasion because of torrential rain and it was under a fiver.

In all, would recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the lift ... the disembodied voice announcing the floor number must surely...

We recently stayed at this Premier inn whilst visiting family. We have always stayed at a Travel Lodge for overnight visits however after staying at this Premier Inn we will now always make this our firs choice. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. the Rhubarb Pub served excellent food for both breakfast and lunch. we will certainly be staying here again.

As a party of 5 (2 couples and a single), we were looking for a cheap room for one night to make our trip to Wakefield as economical as possible. The Premier Inn, not only delivered on that. But provided excellent value for money. At £29 a room, with rooms of far better quality than a B and B, there was plenty left over for any of the party or all to find a cafe for a hearty breakfast and still have had a good deal. As it happens we had a pleasant cup of coffee in the connected pub, which was on free refill!
Staff were polite and effecient. Rooms were clean and of good size. Inn not too near hustle and bustle of town centre but close enough to walk or pay £5 in a taxi to get where ever you wanted to go.
Definitely recommend.

We stay at this hotel because it is near to our family when visiting. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and have no complaints as there is a tv, coffee and tea making facilities and pub and restaurant across the car park.

Room Tip: Rooms at rear are quiet.
