“Peace and Quiet”
Reviewed 4 June 2018 for a stay in June 2018

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The accommodation is great for two people - surprisingly spacious with almost everything we needed - a simple welcome pack enough to make ourselves a cup of tea or coffee on arrival and some soap in the bathroom would have lifted this to excellent. The location is great for visiting places like Sutton Hoo, Framlingham, Orford and a wealth of lovely historic villages in the area, or just for sitting out in the private garden and enjoying the dawn to dusk bird song - what a wonderfully relaxing place this is. We certainly would be more than happy to come here again.

“Fantastic place to stay”
Reviewed 25 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

This was our fourth visit to woodpecker, it is so quiet and peaceful. Saw lots of hares, rabbits, woodpeckers, Swift's, swallows and also orchids growing in the churchyard nearby.
Hopefully we will be back again next year :)

“Wonderful modern country cottage”

Had a wonderful 4 night stay in Woodpecker lodge. A modern and very comfortable cottage, good space and nice comfortable bed. Coddenham is a very nice little village, with a lot of quite old buildings - quite picturesque. There are a couple of short rural walks which start from the village, well worth it if the weather is good
