“My first visit, very impressed.”
Reviewed 14 April 2012

I was travelling alone, so had booked a single-person room. It was the most comfortable I've ever had, plenty of storage space, a large room for 1 person, good quality bed, wide selection of refreshments - coffee and decaff, tea, hot chocolate, plenty of milk, sugar and sweeteners, shortbread biscuits. The en-suite bathroom was also a good size, immaculately clean, good toiletries provided, and all the equipment worked first time, every time, - none of those noisy cisterns or erratic showers like at other places.

You'll be spoilt for choice with the breakfast starters- cereals, 3 fruit juices, 2 types of fruit, and muffins... and that's before the main course and variety of hot drinks.

When you visit Can-y-Bae you don't just feel welcome, you feel you belong. Michael and David seem to have thought of everything for comfort, hospitality, and amazing value for money. They certainly know how to tempt you back for more visits.

We enjoyed a fabulous stay here for 2 nights 9/10 April 2012, in room 23 with a perfect sea view from the bed. This was the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever stayed in. As a same sex 'married' couple, we felt completely at ease here (an unusual experience in a small hotel. None of the usual "are you sure you want a double not a twin?" questions), Michael and David are really friendly, welcoming hosts. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, made to order, nice and hot and service was fast and friendly! The hotel and our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The lift up to the rooms runs smoothly, which was a blessing after a day spent walking all around Llandudno and round the Orme (no stairs to have to climb!!) The hotel is in an ideal spot on the seafront, within walking distance to the centre and all attractions. We parked the car when we arrived and didn't get into it again until we were leaving to go home. The weather was very kind to us too! We will definitely return to Llandudno and to the Can-y-Bae Hotel :-) Excellent all round, just wish we could've stayed longer!

Room Tip: Room 23 has a fabulous view of the bay, the sea, the pier and the Orme. You can lie in bed and watch...

2nd time staying at the B&B for a few days, this time took the family with me. Fantastic value for money and food is 5* grade. David and michael the owners are 100% customer service as nothing is too much trouble and invite u into their home for a peaceful and relaxing break. Situation is brilliant on sea front, if u can have room 15 on the front a little more expensive but worth it.

I've stayed in lots of hotels both in UK and abroad, and both for business and pleasure and you wouldn't find a better hotel anywhere. Comfortable with nice lounge to relax in. David & Michael go out of their way to make you welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Good menu with something for everyone. And you might just get to meet a celebrity. What a bonus. On the Prom so nice views both of the sea and the mountains.

Room Tip: you could ask for a sea view but they are very popular.
