This is the second time that we have visited Llandudno as a family. Last time we stayed in a lovely B&B (Rosedene) - but this time wanted the flexibility and comfort of our own house. After looking around we chanced upon Canvas 47 - and I can say we never looked back. The location of the house is brilliant - on Church Walks, near the two shores, the Orme railway and plenty of food choices. The owners of the house were fantastic - and so helpful. The house was comfortable with great facilities (only small downside was no Wi-Fi - perhaps a blessing!) Plus our children (aged 4 - 10) *absolutely* loved the place. We plan to return!
We had a great holiday in this spacious villa, set just above Llandudno Bay. The house is in excellent condition - it has obviously been recently renovated - yet it retains its old-world charm. The walls are covered in beautiful artworks, apparently painted by the former owners. There was plenty of room for all of us, several bedrooms, at least four bathrooms, large living room (with log fire) and dining room. The beds are comfortable, the linen crisp, and the location is excellent. We walked down to the harbour most evenings for dinner (although we could have eaten in, the kitchen is huge) and found some lovely places within walking distance - my favourite was Osborne House. We loved it!

My wife and I visited Llandudno at Easter and thought then that we would like to come back in Summer and bring the children. In our own inimitable style we didn't book anything until the last minute. We're always wary when a holiday rental, with no reviews, is still available during peak season, but our concerns were allayed when we learnt that we were the first to book this house, as it was newly listed.
Thankfully, you can trust the photos you are presented with on the booking site, but they cannot do this beautiful house justice.
This really is a wonderful house, with so many original features, you can tell it has been lovingly restored. The children loved it and enjoyed "fighting" over which room to have. We were a party of five, but it could easily accommodate another two or three.
The children particularly loved the upstairs "canteen" and were inspired, by the original artworks all over the house, to draw their own creations on the "blackboard wall".
I could go on and on, but suffice to say I couldn't recommend this house enough: great location (walking distance to all of Llandudno's amenities), great views, excellent, friendly and attentive post-booking and check-in process, well-priced, spacious and light.
Many things about this house made me feel nostalgic about long-forgotten seaside holidays from my childhood, it was great to have those memories revived and feel like a kid again, even if it was just for a week (I am 45, it's worth pointing out).
I'm sure we will be back.
