I've been coming here at least once a week for years. Great service, reasonably priced food and sitting outside is a particularly nice on a warm day. If you want to know how good it is, just see the way it is always busy, while other, adjacent cafés are half empty. Always follow the locals!

Visited on Friday 4th December on a bright crisp day . Welcome as always was fantastic.Covid-19 regulation were excellent. It was a delight to sit out side underneath heaters and enjoy our superb spiced gingerbread lattes . The regular waitress there was very busy but took time out to be very attentive to each and every table . This is the main reason we keep coming back . It’s a delightful cafe

Me and my girlfriend visited for a quick coffee and snack, whilst on a walk around the Harbour. They have an enormous menu of drinks and food, with something for everyone. Cafe is located right in front of the Harbour, with a great view. A good stop for both summer and winter months.
Staff made a good effort at socially distancing the premises, and wore face masks when serving customers and preparing food. They also controlled numbers of diners well, asking people to wait whilst they sanitised and prepared a table for them. It’s a shame some customers seemed annoyed by their fantastic efforts to keep them safe, but then there’s always one...
Overall, a fantastic and safe experience at Di Lieto’s. Looking forward to returning soon.

My friend and I are local so thought we’d support this local cafe on a rainy Autumn day. We ordered a tea each and a scone each.
The tea arrived in the tiniest teapot we’ve ever seen! In fact the contents just about filled one cup. There was an equally small pot of hot water, which we had to use to get another cup out of it. So the second cup was diluted as there was only one teabag! We asked a passing waiter whether this was in fact ‘tea for two’, and he bought us another tiny pot of hot water, by which time the tea was like dishwater. We noticed that the two ladies sitting beside us had two bigger pots on their table so we asked them what they’d ordered and they said tea for two! We told them we’d ordered the same and they laughed at our tiny pots. These ladies finished off and left. When we got up to leave (the scones were ok but not very cheesy) the manager walked past our table so we asked her whether we’d mistakenly been given tea for one. She said it was tea for two and when we pointed out that the other ladies had much bigger pots we were told they don’t have bigger pots! This is despite the fact that the shelf behind the counter is loaded with several sizes of pot! We paid £3.90 for what was basically one small cup of tea and another watery excuse for a cup of tea, then a further £3.90 for the scones. . The manager didn’t want to know. She can’t wait to clear tables to get more customers in. As we left, still feeling ripped off, we looked in the window and there was someone inside on their own with, yes you’ve guessed it, a tea for one, identical to our tea for two!
There was then a drama when two unaccompanied children got themselves locked in the toilet. Maybe the responsibility of the parent, but all the screaming and door banging didn’t add to a relaxing elevenses.
Regarding Covid, the tables were given a quick wipe down. The seating and surrounding areas weren’t cleaned. No, we won’t be back and can now see why the cafe nearby is so well-supported by comparison. Shame. We tried.
