The staff were very friendly , cooperative and curteous. Our room was quite luxurious , clean with an enormous bed facing the bay which was a plus for us being on our wedding anniversary.
Dinner in the restaurant was nice but it could have been hotter. Unfortunatey I could not do justice to the serenade, cake and food as i was not feeling well that week . we did enjoy breakfast , the crepes and omelettes were delicious.
For non drinkers recommend the coconut one and the hibiscus mocktails.I cannot wait to go back to tythe alcoholic coconut cocktails , the waiter told me it is very nice.
The masseuse business upstairs who operates separately from the resort dissapointed myself with a no show having booked an appointment with her. The surroundings outside her rooms ( verandah ) can be a bit more (for example decor , Budha , flowers .)
I suggest to go across the road for a massage .
All in all it was a pleasant stay .
Dear Mr and Mrs Dooley,
We thank you for your stay among us and thank you for your comment as it is very valuable to us.
We are very sorry that you could not do your treatment at the spa. We will enquire with the therapist why they did not show up on that day as you did your booking.
Your suggestions also for the deco have been taken into consideration.
Looking forward to welcome you back soon.
Kind regards,
From All Hibiscus Team
Our faimily stayed there for 10 days in April 2019. The food was fantastic, although the choice was not great, whatever we were served was simply superb. The staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, nice and clean (but be aware of cocroaches and geckos visiting at night time). Great choice for scuba divers as the dive centre is within hotel's premises. We loved it there and would definitely come back
Dear Mrs Wilczynska,
A big thank you and looking forward to welcome you back soon.

It is suitable for those looking for a calm place to stay. Very green and calm .
The staffs are very warm specially Natacha at the reception who is just awesome . She ensures that everything goes well and she comes to meet clients at breakfast and dinner time for a short and lovely talk .
The food was very tasty suitable for those looking for Mauritian local foods but the only hic was that we had fish curry for dinner and Fish again the next day .
Dear Mr Shiny,
A big thank you and we hope to be honored to welcome you back soon.

Me, my sister and my 5 year old daughter stayed for 11 days and we Loved it! Its not a 5 star hotel- but reasonable prices- and we did not have High expectations after reading the reviews here, but we were pleasantly supprised. We did experience a few coacroches in our room but I think that can not be avoided especially during rain season. We called the reception and they came straight away to remove it.
The rooms were clean.
We ordered a driver from the hotel to take us from the AirPort and for sightseeing and we can higly reccomend him, his name is Vicash. Trustworthy, not overpriced and know Where to take you for the best sights.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was Ok, we had half board. Some evenings very good food, some was Ok. We also did see a mouse running around outside the restaurant- but it is outside! So i dont know If that can be avoided either ;)
Breakfast was also good- pancakes, omelette, eggs and fruit amongst other think you would expect at Breakfast. Beautiful garden. A public beach on One side of the hotel and a private beach Where we had access on the other side of the hotel.
Would not reccomend the spa- we got massasge there and it did not seem that they were trained. Had our driver arrange for massuses coming to our room- two women from Bali came and that was brilliant!
Would love to have a snack during the day but were told they only had a 3 course lunsj. A bit much for us. But at the public beach near by there was plenty of great take away food.
Overall a great stay and we would go back- and probably will :)
Dear Sir / Madam,
We thank you for your stay in Hibiscus Beach Resort & Spa.
Well noted for your comments,
Thank you
Kind regards,

My two friends and I stayed in Hibiscus for 4 nights. When we came we didn't have any expectation about the place, staff was really nice but not helpful at all.
The guy who checked us in told us we can spend RS10,000 during our stay and that this is included in our pacage, that was really strange beacuse we only paid for half board. We asked him few times is that true and he said yes. When we wanted to check our they asked us to pay 300e. We paied that amount because there was no one to help us at the moment.
We know here is misunderstunding about this situation, but it's really strange that 3 of us understood the same thing.
Food was okay, terace is full of cockroaches and they fly everywhere. We didn't want to complain about that because terace is out side and we understand that we can find animals everywhere. But it was not nice to looking at them when you eat.
WIFI is terrible and we couldn't connect in our room.
When we come bed sheet was full of hair and not cleaned. Next morning we asked them to clean our room and change our sheet. We know this can happen and we didn't make any problems about it.
But after all, we would not stay here again and I advise you to choose another place because there is much more better places to stay for the better price.
