Owner description: Here you can take part in experiences that contain art, history and nature. The park is large, with woods, wooded trails and art.The collection is of high quality and representative of European art history for the past 130 years. With the combination of Ekeberg’s long history, the beautiful scenery and the beautiful sculptures, everything is set up for for a wonderful experience for the whole family.

Easily accessible via the No. 18 or 19 bus from the city centre. The Oslo Hospital bus stop is opposite steps which lead to steep paths into the park but DO NOT attempt to enter this way if there's still snow and ice on the ground. We followed some poor advice from our hotel and went up the steps, expecting to find clear paths. But all we found was more ice and we literally had to drag ourselves up by the handrail to eventually reach the top - there was no way we could have come back down. Very dangerous and scary. After a meal at the restaurant, we left the park via the Ekeberg Park bus stop exit which was clear, easy - and safe! But the park itself is wonderful, free and with great views as other reviewers have said.

This sculpture park is on a hillside east of the city centre. There is an entrance at the bottom of the hill with a path leading up to the park itself, and then more paths zigzagging between the sculptures. It is good exercise, and the art is of high quality. My two absolute favourites are Walking woman by Sean Henry and Konkavt ansikt by Hilde Mæhlum.
From many places in the park you have a wonderful view of Oslo. There is also a café.
There is no entrance fee to the park.

This is quite a large park located on a mountain just east of the city. This is the place you go to have a great view of Oslo and the sunset. The park in itself is also very nice, containing lots of weird sculptures and installations. Perfect for the sunday stroll!

This location gives a wonderful view over Oslo, sunset point and a peaceful place to spend some hours. Together with high-class outdoor art .

This woodland area on a hillside overlooking the city of Oslo offers not only a remarkable collection of modern sculpture, but also gives dramatic views over the city and fjord. It also has the spot which it is said inspired Edvard Munch’s famous painting, The Scream
