Buildings range from the Baroque, Classical, Gothic or Renaissance designs. It is quite the walk but your interest is piqued by all of the amazing buildings along the way from the 1860 to the 1890s..

Vienna is my favorite capital in United Europe. Always a great pleasure to go for a walk on one of the most famous boulevards

If you want to see the center of city of Vienna , you have to follow the Ringstrasse. You can do it by foot or with the tram .In winter, because of the Christmas markets and the streets lightings , the journey through the middle of the city is more beautiful.

A MUST when you visit the beautiful Vienna for the first time. Starts and ends at the same spot. Tickets and passes are sold at the same spot before a ride. Yellow trams are probably privately owned. Multilingual audio on headphones. The government owned red trams also follow the same route but does not have a audio guide. Passes by architecturally and historically important buildings, gardens and statues. Areas and buildings can be marked for a later visit. Areas of interest must be explored on foot too.
Vienna has a very nice, simple to understand public transport system.
