“Perfect Apartment in central Vienna”
Reviewed 13 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

Four of us stayed 6 nights in the apartment and couldn’t have picked better accommodation. The apartment was spacious, very clean and had superb amenities. All of Vienna’s city highlights were mostly within walking distance.
It all helped to make our stay thoroughly memorable.

“Great location, lots of space, wonderfully equipped”
Reviewed 31 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

I have been to Vienna several times, so I knew exactly where I wanted to stay, and this location right in the middle of the old town was perfect. Walking distance to St. Stephens, the Hofburg, the Opera House, museums, and the U-Bahn. There were a dozen restaurants within a block or two, about half a dozen just steps away in the Judenplatz.

The apartment was very large (and there were 5 of us staying there), clean, and amazingly appointed. The kitchen was outfitted so you could actually cook there: pots & pans, blender, mixer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster. And you could certainly entertain with wine glasses, champagne glasses, plenty of plates. There was a hair dryer, an ironing board, and iron. Everything I could even think of wanting.

The only warning I would give people thinking of staying there is that although I knew the place didn't have air conditioning when I booked it, I regretted my decision to stay in a place without A/C. It was frequently over 90 degrees and even topped 100 degrees while we were there, which was painful. In addition, we discovered that with the windows open at night, we were awakened every morning at around 5:00 am by delivery trucks and racks being wheeled under our window by the bakery downstairs. Closing the windows cut out the noise, but we had to choose between being cool and being able to sleep.

Thanks for the useful review! It is forbidden to hang A/C units on historic building like ours and almost all buildings in the center, that's why you'll find so few air conditioned units in Vienna.

“Very comfortable apartment in a great location”
Reviewed 29 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

We recently spent 6 days in Concerto apartment, and had a very good visit. The apartment is spacious with large nicely decorated rooms, comfortable king size (US) beds, and plenty of space for us all. The kitchen was well equipped and having the washing machine was a great bonus. The location is terrific with easy access to all of the tourist sights of Vienna, quite a few restaurants and bars nearby, and easy access to the metro.
The only drawback to,the apartment if you are a large group is the one bathroom and toilet, which are quite small, but the shower was very good.
Christian was easy to work with and answered all of my emails and questions very quickly. He met us at the apartment to show us around and give us the keys, and even let us get settled into the apartment early as it was all cleaned and ready to go.
Without a doubt I would use Elegant Vienna again if I go back to Vienna again.

“Excellent facilities and great location”

My family of 6, including 5 and 6yo children stayed here. Facilities were great with cable TV and a fully equipped AV system. The kitchen was unusually well equipped and we could certainly have stayed much longer. The location of the apartment was excellent, only 2-300m from the shopping malls and Stephansplatz, with a great gourmet grocer nearby. Also very good restaurants in the vicinity. Living directly over a fantastic bakery made breakfast so easy. We had a problem with the hot water system leaking however Ruth came straight away to assess the issue and it did not recur.
Communication before and during our stay was excellent and I was very reassured that I had made the right choice in booking this apartment even before we stayed here. Christian greeted us on arrival and was extremely helpful in pointing out the nearby amenities. I would certainly recommend this apartment to others and will stay here next time we are in Vienna!
The only improvement I could think of would be the availability of a safety deposit box for passports etc.
