“Something different”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 December 2011

The hotel is nicely located- near all the main museums and the city centre is not far as well. We stayed there only for 4 nights and we enjoyed Vienna! The hotel is very specifique - a modern, design style with a fun atmosphere. Rooms were strangely decorated, maybe younger people appreciate it more. But breakfast was not bad, the staff was professional and all in all we had a pleasant stay.

Stayed for 2 nights in Vienna. Great location with metro station right across the corner.
Room was as expected: spectacular, bizarre, smart, cool.
Great bed, excellent pillows, etc.
Breakfast was a bit less than perfect. Using the bar for the choice of breakfast is uncomfortable, that is too high. Cooked /fried meals (scrambled eggs, bacon, etc) were not as fresh as they should. Bread choice is nice but too local and too organic. Pastries: wonderful!
At night, we could get a drink at one of Vienna hotspots, the hotel bar itself! It helps to be a guest to get through the bouncer.
This space, also funtioning as lobby during the day, is beatifully furnished with vintage, with plenty of design books available, and with an spectacular terrace with a great view of Vienna.

Stayed at the 25Hour Hotel Wien from October 12 - 14, 2011. Funky and yet tastefully designed, this hotel didn't disappoint from room comfort, staff service to location. This is isn't your regular hotel though so do not expect bellboys, hotel room service (though they have a book that recommends food delivery service in the area), and a coffee shop. Breakfast is available daily in the popular Dachboden which turns into a very hip bar/lounge at night.

Highly recommend this hotel for any type of guest - young or old, solo or with the family. Our stay here was definitely worth our every penny.

Hotel is in a good location, near Museums Quarter, restaurants, and close to an underground stop. The room was a good size, clean, and had a kitchenette with stove and small fridge, which is good since hotel does not have its own restaurant. The hotel has a bar on the top floor with a nice view (the check in counter is also on the top floor). We stayed on the floor below the bar and could hear the music from it at night on Friday & Saturday. Overall I'd recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Because of a last minute change I needed a hotel quick and read the reviews on tripadvisor and picked out this hotel and it was definitely a great choice. Very funky hotel that you will remember. Up the elevator on the edge of the building... you can see outside as you are on your way up. The concierge in the 'cage'. The bar is very cool. We came in on German Retro 80s night. Great views from the patio on the bar.
We had the 'horse' suite. Largest room I had on this trip. Had a kitchen, separate shower and toilet rooms. Room was very well designed with heavy curtains to block the light.
Only thing missing was A/C but the night was it didn't matter. Definitely recommended.
Location is a few minutes from the subway and walking distance to the Museum Quartier. We actually walked to all our tourist destinations from here.
