Went for family dinner. Staff initially not very responsive, then became very pleasant and attentive. Wine selection is somewhat limited. Garlic spread for bread was delicious. Soup was adequate and chanterelle salad tasty. Entrees we had included lasagna, baked in the brick oven, was delicious and creamy, eggplant Parmesan was thickly sliced, fresh, not breaded, and had a fresh tomato sauce (usually served with meat sauce). Penne with cream sauce and prosciutto was creamy and well seasoned. The stuffed squid with spinach and ricotta in a tomato sauce was very tasty but as spicy as expected. Although initially a shaky start with service, the food was on point.

Well laid out tables and looked attractive so we went in. Totally ignored for awhile despite it being quiet. Finally got served but the mixed salad should have been listed as mixed green leaves as that is all it was. I had so much broken clam shell in my pasta dish I couldn't eat it. The service went from bad to worse even though there was only 4 tables occupied. We were not even offered coffee or dessert. Very expensive and just about the worst italian restaurant I have ever been in.

Had dinner with freinds, the place was packed due to the marathon. The only waiter that spoke english was very un polite and didnt like our quastions on the menu. At the end we good one wfong dish... Other than that, the muzzarela salad and the bread were good, nioki and pasta were ok. I would look again if you like something to talk about later.

The restaurant is hidden in between local streets of Vienna and as not advertised so much you will need to be recommended where to eat good Italian at a decent value.
The staff are very friendly and informative for all the details in the menu. You may order from typical Italian menu or leave the daily details to the waiters. There is no big selection of wines but the ones served would be enough for your taste.
You might enjoy sitting close to the pizza oven or at the entrance where there are two possible alternatives for your own choice.
I would suggest for all purposes.

This place is a gem. The atmosphere is great, along with the food and service.

My favorite dish was the Steinpilz ravioli, which is probably one of the best ravioli's I've ever had.

If I lived here I would come back again and again!
