The boats are very comfortable - every seat has very good legroom & width - plus every seat has a very good view through the picture windows. The boat DOES have aircon & on a nice day the open deck areas are pleasant.
The Danube at this point passes through wooded countryside - so the scenery is pleasant rather than spectacular.
Tuesday is half-price day for seniors - so the round trip is only €30. BOOK any trip on THIS day 1 or 2 weeks in advance!
As with any public transport, take earphones/earplugs: there's bound to be at least one noisy kid.
Don't forget your passport!

We've recently taken the cruise from Bratislava to Vienna (coming back on the train), & it was a very enjoyable experience. I'd booked well in advance so got front-row seats, which were great, although you have the option of going up on deck for some (very) fresh air.
My only complaint was that there was no info on the boat about Vienna - the boat docks near Vienna tourist buses, but we had to work this out for ourselves - it would have been helpful to have had some leaflets on-board.

Thank John C

75 mim boating on the Danube. Clean high speed boat and nice staff. Its a different experience in traveling between two cities. The station for boat in both city is very close to city centre.

Do not take this trip if the weather is warm and sunny. No air conditioning, no ventilation and no shades against the glaring sun. Nothing to see on the river. Better off taking the train.

Travelled from Vienna to Bratislava on the Twin City and it did cost more than a train/ coach would have done, but it was fun. The Danube wasn't particularly scenic but the fishing cottages on the sides of the river was interesting. Also before arriving at Bratislava, we passed Devin castle which was a nice sight. Very windy on the deck, but fun! We were hardly in the seats we booked. Also as we were staying on a boat upon arriving in Bratislava, it made sense to have made the journey by river. We also found our hotel very easily as it was about 15 minutes' walk away on the river. The journey on Twin City took about 1.5 hours - time well spent. Defo recommended!!
