This hotel is so lovely, I would definately stay here again. The staff are really friendly & helpful, its a family run hotel & you definately get that vibe as soon as you walk through the door. The rooms are really lovely & also spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds & t.v. in the room. The resteraunt will also be prepared to make you an alternative meal if it isnt suitable. I am extremely fussy & they made me chips & cheese toasties every night when I didnt fancy the main meal. The food was pelntiful, 3 courses & the breakfast was adequette. Coisants, fruit, tea, coffee, fresh bread, not really a full english but what do you expect your in Austria not England. The facilities were great, the pool is stunning as you can see from the pictures, the sauna & steam rooms are great (be warned people are naked in the sauna/steam) Over all a lovely hotel I would reccomend.

I stayed at this hotel with a group of 9 people on the 2nd week of March. The service from the staff was the best we had ever experienced, from check in to the restaurant all staff were very polite and always made certain to go out of their way to help.
We booked a standard room without a balcony, it was clean tidy and spacious, wouldn't ask for any more from a ski hotel. There are a few things that have been mentioned many times before that could be improved on, such as the shower curtain and spa facilities. The pool was cold on the first day but after several people complained, it was fixed and ready to use by day 2.
The hotel is roughly 5 to 10 walk to town centre and 10 to 15 walk to gondala, for that reason we hired a locker at intersport which is located directly underneath the lift, for 7 euro a day.

At night the lobby bar plays host to more chilled out entertainment whilst the sports bar offers a livelier atmosphere.

Overall this hotel was very nice and we would consider returning in the future.

Very comfortable and welcoming hotel not too far from centre and pistes. The food is copious and good - though not exceptional and rather below a four star standard at times. Most irritating of all for skiers was the condition of the 'Wellness centre' which was a major reason for choosing the Jagerwirt. The cold swimming pool was promised by the owner to be heated at once on our first evening. It actually reached an acceptable level only on the seventh night of our week which was very disappointing. Smaller niggles with sauna and hammams being both below normal optimum temperatures. And shower in room was hand held and without a shower screen. Needs tighter management and a little upgrading.

Room Tip: First floor doubles at rear are spacious, quiet and with balcony.

this is the first time in many years we have returned to the Jagerwirt; we were not disppointed. It was as we remembered, welcoming, cosy, impeccable and with great food and service. Could not fault anything at all and would highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a traditional Austrian welcome.
The owner and the staff make the place what it is, nothing is too much trouble and you are made to feel special at all times..just lovely compared to some of the service we have had in parts of Europe in recent years!
Great entertainment at night in the lounge bar, lovely steam rooms and sauna as well as a very welcome pool.
Drying rooms for the ski gear and a bus stop nearby.
As a resort Kitzbuhel is very expensive for shopping, but fr wkiing or walking is idea. There is also a train line close by so you could go to Strassburg or Innsbruck for the day...love it!!
Thank you all the excellent staff at Jagerwirt for a super stay! We will be back next year ...

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back because that was our only small problem, the front rooms are very noisy as trffic goes all night..kids slept well at the back of the hotel.
