The hotel is beautiful and gives you the impression of being a five star property. Lovely surroundings and impressive architecture. However, the service is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced in Monaco. The personel at the check-in were nice and friendly but obviously not trained at all. The staff at the restaurants were directly rude which is not ok when paying €390 per night and €8 for a small bottle of water. We had a mountain view room and was not informed of the construction work taking place behind the hotel so we woke up due to heavy noise. The hotel would not even provide a free bottle of water in the room. Also very poor WiFi. Will never stay there again no matter how beautiful it is.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the ocean - not the pool

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Monte Carlo Bay. The hotel was first rate in every way. The swimming pools were wonderful and aided by hot, beautiful weather. We stayed on the 9th floor and the elevators were amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything in Monaco is expensive but we felt like we got all that we paid for in our room and meals at the hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet included with our room rate. The internet was by far the best we experienced in our multiple stop European vacation. This is a place that we will dream about visiting again some day!

We stayed for two nights and the staff are wonderful. Price of course is to be expected for Monte Carlo but really a great ambience. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Rooms are spacious and great views. Very clean. A perfect resort to spend a relaxing day. The pool area is so lush.

We stayed here for our anniversary for 4 days. Hotel is lovely and staff couldn't be more helpful. It's luxury! Pool even though for me was very deep all the way, husband loved that it had sand at the bottom. Pool food and drink is pricey not really worth it, I guess it comes with the expensive of the hotel. There's a shuttle bus that takes you to casino square which is great. The walk isn't bad either. Would defiantly recommend and come back.

This is a beautiful hotel and I am so glad we stayed here. The location is stunning and our ocean view room had such fabulous views and was a lovely place to sit late afternoon to relax and watch the ocean. The pool areas are fabulous and never got overcrowded and having the lagoon as well as two pools meant we were spoilt for choice where to swim. The breakfast buffet was included in our room price and had a great selection to choose from. We ate in all of the restaurants during our 4 days there including the Blue Bay and have to say the quality of food served at the Blue Bay is worth far more than one Michelin star. They should be very proud of the team.

The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere, and it is easy to get about as there are shuttle buses and taxis to take you into the tourist parts. The shuttle bus is free, but it's only 15 Euros in a taxi to go to most of the tourist places so we opted to do that. It was also great that we could dine/drink at the Monte Carlo Casino and Café De Paris etc. and it could all be charged back to our hotel room bill, very handy.

Only two minor criticisms. Firstly many hotels serve 1-2 free bottled waters in the room per day, but 1 x 33cl bottle of water out the mini bar was over 7 Euros which is frankly too much of a mark up when water is an essential. Fine for alcohol to be massively marked up but not water.

Second was lack of pool drinks service, we often had to get our own. Maybe they were short staffed but as cocktails are about 17 Euros I would advise getting more staff as we drank quite a few and you would certainly make more profit by serving us more frequently. The 2 guys from Thailand at the pool making homemade rolled ice cream were amazing to watch and the ice cream was simply delicious.

We had such a lovely long weekend here that we will definitely be back next year for another trip. We also ran into a few celebrities around the area as there was a International Television festival going on that week which was fun.

Room Tip: Ocean view rooms are worth the extra cost

We are pleased to read that you enjoyed your time at the hotel and that your experience meet yours expectations.
We have well noticed your minuses concerning the water in room and the staffing around the pool. We did correct this immediately.
For your information the “Rolling Ice Bar” is present every day during July and August
