We went there yesterday for Sunday lunch We were glad we had booked as it was very busy which is nice to see. There was a choice of garlic mushrooms, pate, prawn cocktail or soup to start with. There were no bottles of white wine but the carrafe were fine. I had the pate which was very nice, Mick had prawn cocktail and Ali and Paul had the garlic mushrooms all very nice but the mushrooms could have done with some bread to mop up the last of the sauce. Three of us had the roast beef and I had pork All very nice with veg and both mashed and roasted potatoes. The yorkshire puds were rather flat and ceryainly not light and fluffy. Then we had sticky toffee puds and ice cream with butterscotch sauce. All very nice and we'd certainly go back.
