We have just arrived after 10 days of pure relaxation in north Cyprus. Cheryl the owner has left nothing to chance and the villa is well stocked and equipped. Not having to share a pool or place beach towels every morning was perfect and the village, restaurants, beaches etc were all an added bonus to a perfect unwinding holiday.

This was our early getaway hopefully to the sun, which certainly did not disappoint. In recent years the weather has not been as predicted wherever we've been. We travelled on the 1st May and had temperatures from 24 to 34 degrees with the odd thunderstrorm thrown in which was all the more dramatic being up the mountain in Villa Jacaranda.
We were well looked after by Hakki and Handan who are on hand if need. Everything you could possibly need was catered for in the villa including a mobile phone with numbers for restaurants etc.keyed in. It was so relaxing around the villa/pool/garden which made it very difficult each day to motivate ourselves to leave it! However we did hire a car for a week and did a bit of shopping and sightseeing. There are some lovely walks from the villa especially the walk down the mountain to the sea.
Villa Jacaranda's garden are lovely and full of colour as was the very pretty village of Karmi. A bit of a climb on foot but there is a small car park near the church if needed. The people are very friendly and the village houses so pretty. Altogether a lovely 2 weeks and highly recommended. Shall never forget them serving Christmas Dinner in 34 degrees at the Crows Nest (crazy people!). Hope to see you all again!

We have just returned from Kyrenia, this being our third stay at Villa Jacaranda and both the villa, and the owner Cheryl, yet again provided a holiday second to none. Never before have we encountered such a helpful and friendly approach from a private villa owner - Cheryl organises everything from taxi pick-ups to car hire and a welcome pack to save us having to shop on arrival - nothing is too much trouble, and prior to booking/travel, any queries we might have are quickly responded to by email. The villa itself is delightful, with every conceivable need catered for, from the very comprehensive kitchen equipment , plentiful cooking pans, crockery and glasses, etc. down to spare lightbulbs, matches, and candles in case of power cuts. A large water cooler in the kitchen is most welcome and Chery thoughtfully provides aTurkish moble in the villa for guests' use (easily topped up in local shops) to save them expensive calls on their personal mobiles. The villa has everything for home entertainment - DVD player, brilliant TV with English channels, internet access etc. There is also a good stock of books. The villa is large, light and airy with lovely pastel cream decor and lots of homely personal touches. The lounge has large comfy sofas and the bedrooms have comfortable beds and stylish wrought iron furniture. We don't need to take pool towels when we visit (a great weight saving when packing) as these are provided, as is a hairdryer in each bedroom (again, less to pack). The pool itself is lovely, as are the surrounding gardens and pretty patio areas where one can find either full sun or shade whilst still being within chatting distance of the rest of your party, and the view from the pool and rear of the villa down to Kyrenia town and harbour is wonderful. In contrast, from the front of the villa one looks up at the mountains, and the fairytale castle of St Hilarian, which is lit up at night. There are other villas close to Jacaranda so it's not completely private, but good use of screening hedges and walls creates an atmosphere of 'having one's own space' and in any case, the surrounding villas are all tastefully designed and well kept, and do not spoil the peaceful ambience. Being part way up a mountain not only provides excellent views but also welcome breezes and, although the roads up to the villa are steep and twisty, they are all good roads and provide easy access. The village of Karmi where the villa is located is extremely pretty, possibly the prettiest in the area, and a relatively short drive away out of the village are numerous and varied places to eat. (There is one good restaurant in the village itself, and a Turkish family who will cook a traditional meal for clients who pre-book the day before, but generally eating out involves a drive, making a car necessary). There are many beautiful and interesting places to visit on days out, whilst days spent just lazing around the pool and enjoying al fresco lunches on the veranda or garden patio are perfect. We don't often return to a place we have already stayed as we like to try something new each year, but we keep being pulled back to Villa Jacaranda and indeed have already provisionally booked again for next year!

This villa is absolutely stunning. The owner has left nothing to chance. There is everything you need for a really luxury holiday. The grounds and the decor are just lovely. It's a very peaceful location as well. There was nothing we didn't like and we will most definitely be returning. Kyrenia itself is lovely. This villa is a stones throw from the beautiful village of Karmi so you don't even have to go far if you want to pop there for dinner in the evenings. Really amazing holiday from start to finish.

An incredibly well equipted villa, comfortable beds, very spacious, clean and I could go on and on! We had a lovely break in 35C + heat the pool was an essential. Cheryl organised transfers and car hire all fine, a great help. Hanand and Haki the housekeepers were helpful without being intrusive. Very hard to pull yourself away from the pool...
There are loads of places to drive to for eating and the Aladagi beach is wonderful, clear sea and turtle rearch centre.
