We were looking for a good place to eat on Saturday evening. This place looked OK.
When we entered, we were the very first guests, but with time, the restaurant got full, mainly with local people.
Starter was the smoked salmon. Very good, but nothing special either. I enjoyed.
Main course was tagliatelle with a shrimp and tomato sauce. It could have been a bit tastier, but it was not too bad.
All around the table left satisfied.
The lady serving is very friendly and always up for a small chat. She knew most of the people in the restaurant and had small talk with all of them. At the end of the evening, the chef came out of the kitchen and walked all the tables to get feedback on the food. That was a nice gesture.

Situated close to a big parking lot, not very nice.

French speaking owners who try brasserie style cuisine.

We had dinner on the first floor where the tables were standing very close one to another. One large group was very noisy and we really didn't enjoy their "animation".

Food and service were average.
Not a place for a nice dinner for two :(

I have eaten here twice. It is not the cheapest,but what is, in Luxemburg? The owner, slash,waitress is very accomodating and easy going. The quality of the food was high, as well as the prices,but worth it. After the first dinner I bumped my head very hard on a misplaced shelf. Because of the friendly reactions that followed, I decided to come here again. Yummy.

This Restaurant Maartplaz has an excellent cuisine.
He had today 22.02.14, for lunch : Roti de Lotte, Filet Migon de Veau with salad, rice and french fries. Very good presentation, and flavour. The service is at same quality level as the food. Parking no problem, just few steps from the retaurant is the parking place called "Place Marie-Adelaide.

If you're looking for something with a French flair, try this little place. The menu changes seasonally but always has something to please. The Duck is absolutely incredible. It's is small so reservations are a must. Closed on Mondays and often during holiday season. Service is very inviting and friendly, but you will need to use your French. Trust me, the food is worth the language lessons.

Maartplaz is our favorite special occasion spot and it never disappoints.
