Our family recently visited Valletta in December for Christmas. We smelled this place before we saw it. Make sure to make a reservation if you have a large party, especially in the winter months. This place is small. Maybe 14 guests MAX. During the summer months, they have outdoor seating, which sounds wonderful.
Once we all sat down and read the menu, we ordered starters and some wine. They have a good wine list and of course you can always order the vial, local Maltese beer. Dinner was a pretty quick process considering the restaurant was constantly busy. They seem to have a good flow of customers.
Our food was really good. With the pasta dishes you can pick you pasta or go with what they recommend. The Argentinian beef is AMAZING and the mussels are to die for. So so fresh.
Our server, who we believe was either the owner or the manager, told us the building used to be a old horse barn in the city. It’s over 400 years old. You can still see the horse tie on the walls. Wow.
We definitely recommend this place. You will be happy and full.
