On arrival and after leaving our suitcases in the room, we found this little restaurant very near our hotel. If you have the occasion to go, don't hesitate, food is great, so is the service. And it has nice atmosphere. They sure know how to cook fish. Would go back.

Found this place through TripAdvisor and visited on a busy Saturday night. The service could not have been better. We sat downstairs beside the kitchen and the waiters were all very attentive as well as the chef checking on our food. The mussels and sea bass were both perfect and we had a great time. More expensive than we have had in Malta, but for 3 courses and a bottle of wine €90 is not too bad! Much better than London prices! Thanks so much - we hope we will be back!

Small bistro restaurant directly across from our hotel. The menu set daily is limited but delicious and well priced considering the quality and taste. We shared a pasta with a mushroom and truffle oil sauce and then we each had the rabbit which was beautifully prepared. Restaurant can only seat a small number so reservations are suggested.
Excellent dinner!

Booked based on reviews. Even though had seen comments of how small this place was, I was still surprised when we arrived. 12 covers upstairs and about 15 downstairs.

I was initially disappointed when they sat us just by the door upstairs but slowly came to love our seat. My concerns about the door being continually opened and closed didn’t happen and when I went downstairs I felt like upstairs was the better area.

The food choice is not extensive but I have always liked that as would rather they did 5 things well than 20 mediocre. We chose the rabbit liver to start and a beef ribeye and veal on bone (evening special).

Rabbit livers were massive - knowing what some of the other reviews have suggested, we asked why and were told that it’s farmed rabbit so gets big. My husband has had most other type of liver before and said this was not one he had had before.

The meat courses were fab - accompanied by a small selection of veg. Perfect amount and they had also offered us more if we ran out.

Wine was fabulous - see photo of a gorgeous bottle we had for just 23 euros. They have a fine wine list as well but you don’t need to go to that when the base list is so good. Only sad bit was that the only white they serve by glass is Chardonnay ... which I hate! Would be nice to have a wider selection as would have wanted some white if I had had a fish starter.

Chef came up a couple of times to say hello a and check we were enjoying ourselves. Nice touch!

Beati Paoli was a nice find. We heard about this place from friends and put it on our radar. Dined there 4 times in our 3 week visit to Valletta. Every visit better than the last. Fresh fish dishes, and the service was so friendly. Highly recommended.
