This is a lovely little wooden log cabin in a remote and isolated spot in County Donegal, Ireland. My partner and I were looking for a little bit of peace and quiet with the option of exploring nearby places. The cabin and location definitely provide peace and quiet and are located down a rocky, gravel track right next to the sea. The scenes are beautiful and you are surrounded only by hills, cows and the hosts cottage which is next door. The country track caused us some difficulties, due to the car suspension scarping of stones and struggling with the terrain and wondered if it would be helpful for people to be aware that high suspension cars or off road cars might handle this track better than ours.
Overall our stay was peaceful and the cabin has all the amenities you might require, make sure you ask the host to explain how the taps and heater work as we had some difficulties with using these but that might just be us.
Generally though a great little cabin for a holiday of peace, quiet and isolation.
