Booking the property was really straightforward and the owner was exceptionally helpful throughout the process and also our stay.
The house is huge with enough beds to sleep 9 comfortably and 4 bathrooms.
The pool area was lovely with great privacy and a lovely view over the valley to Nadur. Walking to the square in Xaghra took about 10 minutes and the nearest mini market was less than 5 minutes away.
The only suggestion we'd make to improve this property would be that the top floor bedrooms could really do with air conditioning. It really was too uncomfortable to sleep, even with all 3 fans plugged in. The owner was really helpful and as soon as we mentioned the heat had a brand new fan delivered to the house within 2 hours, but even then it was still exceptionally hot in the upper floor.
There were 2 large sun terraces up stairs but neither had any furniture at all which seemed a bit of a shame.
However, overall this was a great house which catered for all our needs and we'd consider staying here again.
One point to note regarding Xaghra in particular and not this house. If, like us, you're used to travelling around Gozo by bus, the service in Xaghra is far less reliable than in any of the other towns. Buses seemed to take different routes to Victoria each time if indeed they turned up.
