“Brilliant stay.”
Reviewed 7 June 2020 for a stay in June 2020

Paula and mark were absolutely fantastic hosts. Apartment was beautifully furnished and layed out. The hosts bent over backwards for us and also gave us some points of interest of of the surrounding area.
The also gave us the history of the property
Highly recommend this as a place to stay

“Absolutely magical Kiwitea Cottage”
Reviewed 18 August 2019 for a stay in August 2019

We loved staying in this magical Kiwitea Cottage close to Kimbolton, it was lovely and warm, plenty of yum food to eat and Paula and Mark were absolutely amazing!! They even offered to drive us to and from a wedding we were attending, the gardens and surroundings were so relaxing and inspiring that gave us ideas for our own home in Rotorua!! :-) We would definitely highly recommend this stunning accommodation and come back again!! :-) Would rate this 6 stars if that rating went that high! :)

Ally & Chris - thank you for your warm review. We would recommend this cheerful young couple to other hosts. They were considerate, left our apartment sparkling, showed a genuine interest in our organic growing and are good company. We welcome them back anytime.

“Amazing little cottage with amazing hosts”
Reviewed 21 May 2019 for a stay in May 2019

This place is just amazing, with litterally EVERYTHING you could need ! The cottage is a charming little appartment, and the hosts are very nice and will do anything to make your stay as nice as it could be. You are litteraly provided with everything, from body and hair products (and trust me, they are not just any products from the supermarket, but nice brands that respect your body and your planet) to hair blow dryer, ear plugs, and even a piano, if you feel like playing !
Even if it's a bit out of town, it definitely, without hesitation, is worth the little drive !

Thank you so much for your kind feedback - we have enjoyed hosting you, and the opportunity to meet someone from the french/Swiss border and to learn a little of a way of life far from our own

“Sehr schöner Aufenthalt”
Reviewed 15 January 2019 for a stay in January 2019

We have already had some overnight stays in holiday homes. We travel through New Zealand and have already more than 1000 km by car behind us. But nowhere was it as comfortable and loving as with Mark and Paula in Kiwitea. Even baked bread, fruits of all kinds and a full fridge of treats awaited us. We were very spoiled and we were sorry to drive on again. I hope that the translation into the English language expresses our gratitude. We can only recommend this hospitable, beautifully furnished and clean house to anyone. We'd love to come back ...

“Hidden treasure with wonderful hosts”
Reviewed 11 September 2018 for a stay in August 2018

Home away from home - the drive over to Mark and Paula's cottage apartment was spectacular. We couldn't resist but stop over to admire the mountains, and the beautiful landscape that surrounds this beautiful spot.

The place had everything we needed, and we felt completely at home.

We were lucky - we arrived on a day Paula had done some baking. We enjoyed her carrot cake, and all the other goodies she had left for us. It just shows how welcoming and friendly the couple are.

Nice touch with chocolates on bed, and organic products for use in the house.

Although Fielding is a little remote from Palmy. Its just a perfect cottage with all the facilities you won't get in the city, and the drive into city is not far. Highly recommend.
