Almar was an excellent driver and guide. Very nice tour, small minibus, plenty of time to see each fabulous site.

I can’t say enough positive things about this tour and the tour guide. It was my favorite excursion from my entire Iceland trip. The guide (forgot his name) was so passionate about his job. He was highly informed about Icelandic laws and it’s history. He didn’t give business answers. He was able to connect on a personal level with a lot of the tourists, and made EVERYONE have a fantastic and unique experience. And we were his first group of people,as it was his first day on the job! I learned the most about Iceland taking this tour.

Our fantastic guide Baldvin had many interesting stories and details about Iceland as we drove east to Vik and back. He answered a multitude of questions from the group. He even played some music to give us a variety of experience on the long journey including a delightful two minutes of Iceland rap music. The mini bus was very comfortable and even had Wi-Fi which several in the group utilized. This tour had quite interesting variety including two finales: walking very close to a glacier and the chance to walk and climb behind a waterfall. Baldvin made sure we were safe on the black beach of Vik where the waves are incredibly high and can be dangerous. This beach is very unusual and an interesting geological beach worth going to see. The tour from this operator (Your Day Tours?) with Baldwin P. included just the right amount of sightseeing with hotel pickup for a very reasonable price.
