We booked a two bed suite for a couple of nights in Reykavik, part of a 3 week trip to iceland.

The hotel is located very conveniently around 5 mins from the cathedral, the marina, the main shopping streets etc. Everything is within walking distance but still quiet for nighttime sleeping.

The beds were very comfortable and the extra space, the kitchen and sitting area were very useful and well furnished. We paid for the hotel to supply us with a breakfast basket which we found useful. As a price reference, hotel breakfasts in Iceland will cost around £25 per person. The concierge staff were very helpful for a late check-in and re-organising our car hire for a central pick-up.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the ground floor suites located behind the main hotel reception on a quiet street.

We paid the most for this hotel out of all of our stays and it was by far the worst. It reeked of mothballs and the room had no air conditioning control, so we woke up in the middle of the night hot and stuffy. Thank goodness the window could be opened otherwise we would of left. No free breakfast, but it is a convenient walk to the heart of town.

We stayed here for three nights to do Reykjavík and all the things around it. It’s a welcoming hotel with helpful and fun staff (that will walk with you and open your door if you forgot to brig your key going for a run...). Breakfast a la carte is great - the winebar relaxed- but you can also cuddle up in your room- make tea or coffee and have breakfast there!

Room are furnished nice and modern in a functional way. Bed is comfortable!

I would say the place to stay if you want to be close to it all!

We’d booked an Airbnb but none of the gps maps could find it. The Residence Suites popped up on TripAdvisor. They had one room available, and we may have even lucked into a discount. The room was gorgeous; the breakfast so good; the staff so warm and helpful.

Centrally located, good restaurants nearby. When we return to Iceland, and we plan to, we will stay again.

We stayed here for 4 nights. We were organically booked into the residency hotel, but we're shown to the suite, which is a few doors down. This was not a problem, as we were very happy with our room.

We had a basement room, that was a mini apartment, lounge with kitchenette - hob, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. We had free, milk, juice and cornflakes, as well as coffee and tea. All very welcoming. The accommodation was very clean and quiet, Plus the beds were comfortable.

The road the hotel is on, runs parallel to the main rd, with all the amenities on. The harbor is a short walk away. For any trips, or airport transfers, the number 7 bus stop, is just over the road.

The hotel reception is based at the residence hotel, or they're are just a phone call away. We found everyone there very helpful - helping us to print out our boarding passes off.

I can not recommend, a stay at this hotel.
