We stayed here for three nights with our children and had two rooms on the ground floor. The rooms are very nice, clean and well designed. They are big enough for a city hotel and have nice and comfortable beds.
The hotel is in a perfect spot withing walking distance to everything in Reykjavik. It does not have parking, which is a bit annoying. Because of the location it is very very noisy at night. The bar in the hotel is quite noisy but the noise from outside is much worse. I did not sleep well at all.
The breakfast is ok. Nothing fancy and not much choice unless you order something and pay extra. We had lunch in the restaurant once and everything was very good. Again...nothing special.
All in all a good but way too expensive hotel. Something is missing so it is almost a bit boring and probably more suitable for business travellers.
