We stayed here for two nights, one at the start of our trip to Iceland and one at the end. Both nights we excellent, with staff very willing to help make our lives easier - whether it was by providing information and a map or letting us park on-site by using one of the hotel's buzzers for the barrier.

The two different rooms we stayed in were great, with all on our corridor a different quirky theme, designed by an Icelandic designer. The view was just of a car park, but it would be rather unreasonable to expect a good view in the middle of a city like Reykjavik.

Breakfast each morning was wonderful, with a massive load of food and drink available - certainly enough to fill you up and only require a snack come lunchtime (particularly useful, considering how expensive it is to eat anywhere in Iceland!).

The location is also great, only five minutes' walk to Laugavegur, the main street through the centre of the city. Reykjavik itself isn't massive and so you can find yourself exploring most of the beautiful Icelandic capital in no time at all.

Perfect location for visiting main streets in Reykjavik. Hotel was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful.
Rooms and the bed were comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities.
The bathroom was a wet room but perfectly adequate.

The restaurant has a limited menu and is no more expensive than other restaurants in Reykjavik.

Located in a good place, this hotel was clean and basic. Staff were helpful and friendly, room was adequate. Bathroom, although small was not perfectly ok. Breakfast was good with a variety of hot and cold food available on a buffet basis. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is a clean, basic, comfortable hotel. The rooms are simple, but the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small, which was fine, but the shower was a challenge. Water sprayed ALL over the bathroom every time my husband or I took a shower. We'd have to use all of our towels to mop up the water from the floor afterwards. Additionally, our room and the water smelled liked sulphur - all the time. Took a few days to get used too, however brushing our teeth was a constant reminder. The hotel breakfast exceeded our expectations. There was fresh bread, cheese, fruit, meats, warm items, coffee/lattes, etc.

Room Tip: Request non-smoking if that is important to you.
