We dined here and has a wonderful meal. As others have mentioned, it’s a small place in the ‘burbs but easy to find and so worthwhile. The staff are very friendly and the food was excellent!

Midlanders from the USA appreciate seafood when we travel. Fiskur surpassed all our expectations. The family recipe for halibut was outstanding. The wait staff attentive and helpful.

Excelente restaurant, very friendly with very very good fish food. A special taste for a Portuguese visiting Iceland, when we came in to the restaurant lovely music from Cesária Évora was passing.
We recommend this typical Iceland Restaurant.

I hate lamb. I really do. My partner ordered the lamb and monkfish dish. And I am blown away by this dish. This is the best lamb I have ever had.

Did I mention I also hate potatoes? There must be something magical in the butter in Iceland because both our plates are empty.

I went so far as to install trip advisor to leave this review. It is that good.

I left out the part about how their starter dish, the one with Arctic char, is beautifully presented, and rather tasty.

I realize this restaurant is really good at preparing fish, the inside is aesthetically pleasing, but damn that lamb...

Best restaurant in Reykjavík! Lovely atmosphere and a great service. By far the best fish you can get in Iceland. Could not recommend it more!
