Soups, cake´s and croissants as well as our fumes breakfast so if you are coming from the flight in the morning the stop and see us for breakfast and we also have good lunch and sandwiches. We popped into this little cafe nestled in one of the blue blue buildings by the old harbour (near the whale watching boats) for a coffee while we had an hour to kill in the area.

Its a mishmash sort of building full of old comfy old sofas and mismatched chairs and tables.

We were welcomed by a friendly man who spoke perfect English (as does pretty much everyone else in Iceland) who took our orders and quickly set about my latte.

The coffee is excellent.
Remarkably good especially considering the surroundings of the bashed furniture. My Girlfriend ordered a chocolaty truffle type thing that was so good she went back and bought another!

This is a great, pleasant and slightly unusual place to chill out and warm up after getting off a whale watching boat or just to spend an hour.

Went in here to keep warm as the coastal wind outside was very cold! Really enjoyed the fish soup. Some of the cakes looked good but didn't try them.
