Our party of 8 made the mistake of choosing this restaurant for an evening meal on one of the nights when visiting Reykjavik a few days ago.
It started well, with a good choice of dishes on the menu and we all chose our mains, however we were informed a fair while later that a few dishes were not available so alternatives were chosen. We then were served all the mains and the starters together which kind of defeated the object.
Service was a little slow, with drinks being forgotten about and a general lack of atmosphere in the back room of the restaurant.
The icing on the cake came when asking for the bill, there were 12 mains on the bill despite there being only 8 of us and to say the revised bill was still expensive is an understatement. Shame as we wanted to enjoy the evening.
