We have stayed in many villas over the years, but never in Tenerife . We arrived, place looked clean, but on closer inspection it could have been better. The pool was lovely and the area is quiet, with views out to sea, and yes you occasionally see the dolphins. But we had a few issues, which the majority were dealt with quickly. But we discovered that the 5th bedroom with an additional 6th, is in the basement underneath the main house, not internally connected and no windows! The subbed cushions had seen better days, fabric base cushions are not very suitable and collect dirt and grease very quickly and being the end of the season had gathered quite a bit. As a suggestion to the owners, as past villas have suggested, ask your clients to put them away at night, saves dust, rain etc. The sofa had collected dirt too, just add throws, which you can wash or replace with something that wont attract sun lotion. An itenary of how the oven, hob, microwave works, local doctors, dentist etc and were things are would have help your guests. And a basic food pack i.e.bread, ham, water and wine would make a huge difference to travellers arriving late. We have received these with previous villas. It just a nice welcome. There were other little things which I won't go into, which were broken, which to a client makes a huge difference. All these little things things would make an adverage villa an excellent one. The owners are lovely and very friendly, I hope they take on board the advice.
