I stayed here for 5 nights a week for 3 months whilst working in Turku 2014. You check in downstairs in the local Hesburger restaurant/take away. The hotel is very clean and surprisingly quiet especially as it is located a 3 minute walk from the centre of town at the bus station and 3 minutes from the main railway station. Each room has it's own bathroom with shower TV and free wifi.
Parking is 5€ per night but if you park 50 metres across the road in the bus stations car park it is free overnight. Security is very good and your valuables are as safe as can be expected.

They also have family rooms which we used over the weekend on several occasions and also found them to be excellent value.

Overall an excellent choice if you are not looking for either a business trip or for a family weekend.

Room Tip: I tried several different rooms and they all seem to be much the same

+ location: very near to main bus stop, train station and city center also cathedral
neat, clean and enough spacious, two restaurants just at the first floor

- very hard to find, there is no board. If you dont know it is a hotel by Hesburger company (which I did not know). Even when I called at the number given, the person could not direct properly. We accidentally landed up at Hesburger and got to know by asking the reception there.

Room Tip: all rooms are equal

This place must have one of the most unique "reception" areas in the world: the counter of the local Hesburger Restaurant (the Finnish equivalent of McD or Burger King) where you'd normally order your burger, shake and fries is where you register, pay and get the key to your room. The rooms themselves are located on the floor above the restaurant and can be accessed from a separate door outside the restaurant. The entrance is not guarded but a keycard-operated lock at both the lower as wel as the upper end of the staircase keep it safe enough.
Rooms are quite new, clean and comfortable and there is no way to notice that you are sleeping above the burger joint. WiFi connection was a bit sloppy at times. The restaurant is located opposite the main bus terminal, at some 10 minutes walking from the train station or city centre, and about the same distance from the final stop of the (cheap and good) Omnibus service from Helsinki.
Staff (yes, the same that woudl take your burger order!) was very friendly and efficient. Perfectly fine place if you need a good room not to far from the city centre, at a reasonable price - especially for Finnish standards.

Room Tip: Mind you: a double room may have bunk beds. Double check if this is important to you!

Well, up the stairs from the local fast food, Hessburger. I admit I had to look for it for a while as I did not know it belong to the fast food. But: it was really comfortable, with a nice bathroom and enough space for everything, quite close to the town center. There was one minus, though: the wifi was not working. All in all, perfect place to stay in Turku.

Friendly staff. Free wifi. Close to the city center. Nice bathroom. Easy access to ferry
Reception in fast food is not a very good solution. Parking is paid, but is near. Heating by aircondition. Small room.
