I stayed here by myself in an all female dorm in July of 2016.

The hostel was clean. The sheets were nice, and there was a sink and personal locker in the room. The kitchen was tidy. Hostel staff were knowledgeable and were able to provide instructions.

The bunks in the female dorm were comfortable. There weren't anything like individual dedicated plugs for the bunk or lights.

The mix of people staying in the hostel made for a somewhat transient experience-- people kept to themselves. There were families with young kids and there were older people and there were younger twenty somethings. The layout of the hostel kind of promotes this "do your own thing" vibe. It isn't a place where I'd want to hang out for long beyond sleeping, washing up, and getting myself prepped to hit Helsinki, which makes sense because that's probably why you're there!

The bathroom situation wasn't bad but it wasn't my favorite either. You have a sink in your room, some bathrooms are small half baths with a small sink and toilet. There was a larger one with a shower as well. It felt a little claustrophobic, but it was tidy.

The hostel is located in the quiet side of the city, around 15 mins walk to the pier. Tram no. 10 right in front. The place is clean with well equipment kitchen. It is inside a residential building combining two apartments on the same floor. it lacks a common area (apart from the kitchen) and can feel slightly cramped. The bed is squeaky and not very comfy. Price is on the high side, but overall the hostel is well run.

The location of this hostel is good and since there aren't too many hostels in Helsinki, this one was pretty awesome. There are 2 great bars downstairs where you will meet some awesome people. You can walk around Helsinki and the main harbour is a 15 minute walk

I stayed at this hostel at the beginning of September 2016 for a solo trip in the European interior design capital. The position is perfect if you wish to reach all the touristic places, very central. The building itself is also historical and well- maintained. The room was big enough for 6 people (there are only separated-sex dorms) and the bathrooms / showers clean (outside the dorm); the kitchen is more than enough but there is not enough space for everyone's food. There is no hostel life at all. Good and perfectly strategic place to stay but not to have fun in!

We has a pleasant stay in this perfectly located and clean hostel.

- Helpful and friendly staff;
- The shared bathroom had a amazing shower and very tidy.

The room was small but cozy. There was a sink in the room, which was very practical.

Furthermore, the big openable window made the room bright and airy.

We would definitely go back!
