The best hotel in Helsinki is Kamp/ 5 star dream hotel. Haven is so close and they really have that something which makes you come back time after time ( have been there once before, and return visit as successful as first one)
Haven has All the element for a great business hotel:
Great, central Helsinki location, but still quiet .
Friendly reception
Fabulous rooms ( WIFI super fast, TV selection great, Beds so good you hate to get up in the morning , pillows so comfortable you falling sleep straight away).
Bathroom is perfect/ A proper shower with great water pressure and bath.
Room has tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board.
perfect, quiet room, and enough to do business as well ( a proper desk)
Brfst: do not miss! selection perfect and you will eat more than you planned. Porridge absolutely fantastic ( I must have put extra weight on just eating more for brfst than usually). Fresh bread for brfst , and that is something
As said, After 5 star Kamp, this hotel definitely is the best in Helsinki. If you have not stayed here, your loss! Management in this hotel can be proud. Their vision is being the best and it shows through the hotel's services and quality! Congratulations to Management!

Hotel Fabian is located in the city centre, not far away from the sea side. Rooms are stylish, nice and clean. The only issue I had was the a/c that was impossible to switch off. There was a very good food selection at the breakfast.

As everyone says, it is on the harbor You can walk to so many attractions. Room and bathroom are large. Looks brand new. Small gym. Enough outlets!! I am presently charging five items and have outlets to spare!

Loved this hotel. It's kind of boutiquey, funky and historic. The location is prime. Our room was understated elegance and very comfortable. Our bathroom was large, clean and bright. There is a whiskey bar off the lobby and a great restaurant through the atrium. A one minute walk away from the market square, a ferry to Summenilia, and the tram stops. I wish we had more time there than we did.

Stayed 1 night at Haven at the beginning of August. The location is excellent right in the center of Helsinki. Our room was on the 8th floor in the new part of the building and was nicely appointed and very clean. Only one pair of slippers in the room for 2 people. No street noise could be heard as the rooms are on a side street.

When we arrived with a lot of luggage, there was no one to help - you have to park on the street while you unload and did not want to leave the car so one had to haul the heavy luggage to the reception, which has some stairs before you get there. Very very inconvenient. To get to the new part, you had to take the other elevators to the back of the building. Again, hauling a lot of luggage through the hotel corridors. We were also not told upon check in about the hotel's amenities, so we also did not take a drink at the bar.

On check in, the gentleman in front of me, who had booked a superior room just like us was told there are no superior rooms available (it was around noon time), would he like to upgrade to the next room level for just Euro 20 - he said yes sure. Then it was my turn and I was told the exact same thing, but the upgrade would have been Euro 15. I said no, it is fine, I will wait til 3 oclock for a superior room to become available. The lady then all of a sudden said that actually a superior room was available and we could get it right away. Very strange and really did not like this at all. What it seemed like was try to get people to pay a bit more for their night. Really disappointing.

We had to leave early the next day to go to the airport so would not be able to enjoy the breakfast we had in the room price. So I was happy to hear that we could get our breakfast to go. This was, however, not breakfast - 2 small dry croissants, some jam and a horrible filter coffee. Again, at this level, you should expect more.

Overall, a disappointment and would not stay again. Helsinki has other good hotels at much more reasonable prices.
