My wife and I spent a few hours at the museum, which was fantastic and was not only enlighting on the Swedish involvement and development of airplanes but also very informative on the Swedish involvement during the world wars
What was an added bonus was to see the aircraft that was shot down by Russian Migs
Recovered/salvaged from the bottom of the ocean many years later,is now in the museum

Don’t forgot to include this place in your plan list and the story of DC-3 is a very good attraction

Best museum ever. If you're into airforce and cold war, this is it! Free entrance. Good restaurant at the museum at a decent pricelevel. Highly recommended!

Very interesting! A large collection of the Swedish airforce's airplanes, all in good condition. The guided tour is recommended if you want to know more details.

The best part was the flight simulator though, book in advance!

Here you can go around and see some of the rarest and most historical air force planes.
I recommend paying around 16€ for the flight simulator, which gives you an experience of what it feels like to fly in JAS-39 jet fighter. Oh, and you'll get to shoot down some "enemy" jets.
Overall, this museum is really something you must visit- its great for families, couples or friends.
