“Best breakfast ever!”
Reviewed 16 May 2012

Stayed here with friends. Location is at the upper end of a main street. A little far away from the centre of Stockholm's "downtown" but the train station is about a 10 min walk. The rooms were clean, modern, comfortable. The breakfast was amazing- pancakes, cereals, breads, fresh fruits, salmon, cakes, all types of teas/coffee. It was a $20 meal in itself. The surrounding areas are not that exciting but walking along Sveavagen street towards the centre of town we found many coffee shops and restaurants. Cafe 60 had the best tiramisu. Very happy to stay here again.

After going through so many hotel reviews for Stockholm, we finally picked the Best western Time hotel.
The hotel is located close to the Odenplan T-Bana(metro station) and the first day, we walked from the station(its abt a kilometer). Later on that evening, the front desk suggested we use the bus and we realized that Stockholm has one of the best Bus services in the world. The bus stop is hardly 200m with regular buses(one every 2-4 min) to take you to Central Stockholm(Bus no.2 towards Sofia, the return back is towards Nortull).
Coming back to the Hotel, the neighbourhood is fantastic. It has an array of shops within walking distance, eateries, a florist :), a supermarket next door and a school next to it. It's a very nice quiet residential locality with everything nearby.
The room is quite spacious with all basic amenities, the bathroom is very functional with a hand-jet shower system. Rooms have free wi-fi which was a nice touch as my girlfriend had some office work to wind up.The view outside was one of the most unique I have seen in quite a while, it gave us a nice view of a basketball court(from the nearby school) and if you are lucky, a few games :)
The only grouse I had with the room was the bed. We had booked a Double room, but it was just two single beds put together. However, the beds were super comfy and cozy.

We had the breakfast included in our deal and it was quite a spread. Lots of options- salads, cereals, bread and meat. The Coffee and Tea selections were good too, they also open quite early(6:30 AM) which will benefit those catching an early flight or are in town for business.

Stockholm has a variety of places one can visit, and this hotel is located in a great spot. Kungstradgarden and Gamla Stan are about 10-15 mins by Bus or metro. From there, one can catch the tram to Djurgarden(20 mins from Nybroplan) or explore the water-front.

All in all, a fantastic option if you are in Stockholm. Do explore the area nearby, its very charming :) Will surely recommend.

Room Tip: Try the ones on the higher floors.

A trip to Scandinavia was on schedule. A shorty biz meet in Helsinki and a meeting with a friend in Stockholm.
The Best Western Time Hotel comes to mind with a real good looking design.
No disappointment here.
Coming in by Finnair, riding on the Flygbussarna till Norra Stationsgatan. There are only some 500 meters to walk from the bus stop.
A nice welcome by a male desk agent, not a second to wait for me in the evening.
There are eight floors to choose from and no question a room at level seven was prepared for me, as earlier requested. Well done.
It´s like a penthouse location. You walk along the windows with a nice view and there are only rooms on one side.
Large and spacious, modern style furniture, a comfy bed. Sure a calm and good night to sleep for me.
Everything clean, the bathroom also large enough for me. No bathtub, ok with the short stay.
Breakfast was buffet style, different breads and bread rolls. That´s what I need in the morning, really good.
Also no time to wait during checkout.
The only minor complaint was the wrong fare in the hotel system. Quickly fixed without any arguments by the nice girl at the desk.
There are some 500 meters more to walk in the other direction till the next Tunnelbana stop, Odenplan.
The fare 750 SEK B&B, sure ok here this way.

We stayed two nights and everything was perfect. Of course the fact that we got an upgrade to a superior room helped a lot.

The room was modern, very spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very impressive with smoke salmon and pickled herring.

The location is a bit off about 40 minutes walking to the centre and 10 minutes walking to the nearest subway station.
