I've traveled all over Europe and this was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Don't stay at this hotel, it's not worth your money and not worthy of its current rating. I was not treated as a paid guest but more of a nuisance. The location is great but it doesn't make up for the sub-par rooms, the mediocre and over priced breakfast, and the awful service. Choose one of the many other options in the area.

Concur with other reviews of this hotel. We were on the 14th floor in "business class". This entitled us to free internet, pay TV and the breakfast buffet. We faced the City Hall with lovely views of it and the water. There is lots of lighting in the room and even a window one can open for fresh air. The heated bathroom floor is a real treat. Also nice to have a hair dryer actually near a mirror, in the bathroom and not requiring one to hold a button to keep the power on! The breakfast buffet is as large and varied as any we have seen and was promptly replenished, even on Saturday when the place was a madhouse. Since we were here for five nights, it would have been nice to have drawer space and a laundry line but these are small points. Particular thanks to Ida in Reception for her welcome, her smile and all her help.

Room Tip: We had room 1435 which is at the end of the hall facing City Hall and the waterfront.

The Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel is a typical but good business hotel. I like it very much, because of the view over the old town. Breakfast is nothing special (but its never in Scandinavia), but the room is good and clean. Staff is very friendly.

One of the things that makes the Radisson Blu Waterfront attractive is that it is new and everything is so clean and fresh. The rooms are a modest size like so many big city hotels. I have stayed in many hotels in Sweden and, oddly enough, this is the only hotel I've stayed in with wall-to-wall carpet rather than hardwood floors. Nice, well-deisgned bathrooms with heated floors.

The hotel is adjacent to the waterfront conference center so it can be very busy with long check-in times if there's a major conference taking place.

Whatever you do, do not confuse this hotel with the Radisson Blue Royal Viking which is almost across the street. The Waterfront is much nicer.

The staff is very pleasant and welcoming. Very complete breakfast buffet.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of Stockholm's City Hall. Some of the views are among the nicest of a...
