I was here last week for a work event. Lunch was fine - or at least typical for Sweden, in that it was buffet-style with tasty but boring dishes centered around salad and potatoes. Dinner, however, was the worst meal I have ever eaten. The vegan option I was served began with near-frozen bits of some kind of soy based creme fraiche with potato chips and capers. The main course was a square of polenta, which contained about as much salt as the water in the Stockholm archipelago. That's also ALL there was: a square of polenta. We asked the waiter for anything else - bread, potato, vegetables - and he told us no. Dessert was at least edible, consisting of a small serving of fruit with one spoonful of sorbet - how original and filling.
