Have just spent 5 nights in Malmo at the Elite Plaza hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bed was huge, and there was a great hospitality tray - unusual for a continental hotel - as well as a minibar. Breakfast provided a good choice of hot and cold food, so lunch was unnecessary! Malmo - as most of Scandinavia - is expensive, so the hotel provided really good value. The hotel is ideally situated an easy walk from the station, opposite a bus stop, and right in the centre of Malmo. Wouldn't hesitate to return.
