Great place for a couple or family with children, say aged 7 plus, due to mezzanine balcony design of main bedroom. Well equipped kitchen, open plan layout, gorgeous views from private terrace of old ruins of cathar castle, which is lit up at night.
Village is sleepy and typically French with a small Super U supermarket, a garage, bar opposite that serves basic food and a couple of wine producers where you can taste and buy. Not much else facilities wise.
Great little pool outside for cooling off. Main attraction was the ever changing light on the hills and castle opposite, beautiful.
Easy parking, own designated space. Quite a lot of stairs inside and out so not good for toddlers needing stairgates or the elderly or infirm.
You are off the beaten track here so main attractions tend to be a one or so hour drive from places like Carcassonne, Peyrepetuse castle (fantastic views), and the coast about an hour as roads are small and winding.
Stay here for a quiet, get away from it all, holiday in very comfortable well appointed surroundings.
