A small, at times crowded yet perfectly nice and relaxing place. We picked it on the recommendation of Danish friends living across the street. We did not reserve a table (required, in principle), but the proprietor did manage to park us somehow until a table for four could be charmed up. This is Spice Kitchen in a nutshell: friendly, improvised, with plenty action in a confined space, and surprises of the nicer sort..
We (2 vegs, 2 carnivores) were all happy with our dishes. The papadum breads are baked with caraway seeds, which gives it a nice twist. Otherwise the dishes are just the way you expect them to be in a better Indian restaurant: not surprising, but definitely not disappointing. DO NOTE: not all dishes (and drinks, I think) appear in the printed menu! Do study the notes posted on the desk-front!
ONE MORE NOTE: If you don't have Dankort (national credit-card but this is not of much help for a tourist..), you'd better come equipped with cash. I believe there's an ATM in the vicinity.
