Description: Our bright basement restaurant in the heart of Vesterbro is where it all began in 2004, and Restaurant Cofoco is still one of a kind in our palette of dining options. Both the food and the decor is full of contrasts; the rustic and the elegant, the simple and the complex. We start with great Danish ingredients and prepare them in the way they shine brightest; in Danish, sometimes Mediterranean, and at other times with inspiration from far corners of the globe. All dishes are served as small plates, allowing you to taste more and possibly share. We tie it all beautifully together with our love for the great meal and gastronomy you can understand.

Probably one of the worst restaurants I have been to. The food was fair, but the service was pathetic and rude. Further serving in broken china/plates was offensive considering the price one has to pay. We were 7 at our table and it was unanimous that we shall not return.
If a negative star could be given, this restaurant deserves it.

Great food at lovely prices. Lovely service.
We liked it so much we chose it as our wedding dinner place (they have a private room seating up to 15 people).
Exquisite, elegant but unpretentious food.
Lovely wine pairings.

The mussels soup was spectacular. Pork belly was excellent too. Shrimp was great. Cheese with pickled elder flower pear was great

We stayed at the hotel (Absalon) around here, made reservation ahead, came here for dinner, it was excellent!
Interior design is very simple, nothing fancy. The food and service are simply great! The menu has 3 course set or a la carte option, we had shrimp salad, soup, pork belly, steak, sorbet, are all delicious!
The food and plate display have strong French influence, it's not big portion which we prefer, still it's more than enough of food. We are very pleased!
The bill came to $70 (we don't drink), it's fair, compares with other restaurants. Copenhagen is a very expensive city.
Reservation recommended.

We had a very nice experience at Cofoco. The food was absolutely delicious (we enjoyed the Churros snack, the excellent mussel soup, the tartar, the shrimps, the rib eye). Portions were generous (honestly for me, 3 courses was a maximum).
The service was friendly and smiling, the interior design, very nice. We strongly recommend !!!
