I just came back from Copenhagen and stayed in the Double room de luxe from Oct 13 to Oct 18. In general, I like this hotel and if I travel to Copenhagen in the future, I would stay here again.
Let me start with its weaknesses. This hotel shows its age. It does not have ac or central heating system. The water pressure in the bathroom is not great. I do not like the mattress as it's too thin for me. The noise level may be bothersome for people sensitive to noise as you can definitely hear people talking from other room or the traffic outside.
On the other hand, the location of this hotel is convenient. S-train and many buses are just a few minutes walk away and it's close to the city hall and Tivoli Gardens. The staffs I met are all with genuine smiles on their faces, and they made me feel very welcome.
Although I think some upgrades of the room, like a better mattress, would be nice, the room is definitely very clean. It somehow reminds me the old studio I rent when I was in college. However, I certainly did not have these lovely pieces of Danish furniture in the studio^^. Btw, if you opt out for the room cleaning service, you will get 100 DKK voucher which can be used in the Vietnamese restaurant next door. After eating Nordic food for so many days, it's so good to have some Vietnamese food.
