“Exactly as described - a nice experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2012

This one was for a quick weekend trip - stayed two nights. Room was clean/relatively newly furnished, an ok size (bed was a double), and overall amenities were decent - came with toaster, fridge, microwave, kettle... all handy for longer stays. No air conditioning, but the windows opened.

The breakfasts were fine. Few different types of buns, some cheese, yoghurt, spreads, and a couple of juice bottles. They varied it a little between days. Not very exciting, but does the trick - on a longer trip, you'd definitely want to liven things up with a trip to the local grocers.

Staff were friendly, perfect English (as is the case in all of the Nordics!), and very helpful.

Hotel is close walk to the train station (5min), and a 10-15min walk to many of the city attractions. Nearby are a bunch of bars, etc... reasonably trendy.

All in all, a decent experience...and for a price a reasonable bargain vs. other Copenhagen offerings. One word of warning - the taxi's are expensive! (even vs. London or Amsterdam standards).

Stayed for one night when visiting Tivoli. Rooms and deco quite nice, service fine and great to have breakfast in your room when you like. They bring fresh bred to your door at 7.30. It suited us cause wanted to continue driving early.Floor in our room was not equal, odd.

Well located hotel within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The room we had was comfortable, quiet, a good size, with a kitchenette comprising a refrigerator, microwave, toaster and sink. Although the cooking utensils provided were limited. The room also had an ironing board. Breakfast, comprising fresh bread rolls and pastries, was left on the door handle and yoghurt, jams, fruit juice and cheeses left in the refrigerator.
The hotel could be readily reached by walking from the Central Station, although road works while we were there required a detour to walk to the hotel.
Reception staff were friendly and no doubt helpful, although we had no need to ask for any help.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights over in Copenhagen on our way back from the Sweden Rock Fest. We initially chose this hotel based on reviews on Tripadvisor and we are happy we did. It is a short walking distance from the train station (a little bit more of a walk now currently that there is construction blocking the main street to the hotel so we had to walk around it, not a big deal though) as well as Tivoli and the shopping area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had taken a nasty spill running to the train in Sweden and injured my toe, the man at the front desk of the Hotel Tiffany gave me a bag of ice for my toe. We were given the room on the 1st floor right across from the front desk. The room was very clean and nice. A little bit small but comfortable. The bed is very soft and didn't hurt our backs as sometimes hotel beds can. The bathroom shower is a bit small for a 'large' adult. Our window was open the whole time we were there (it was HOT outside) and I was a little bit wary of people walking by our window since we didn't have any screens on them. they do have curtains though and we just kept those closed.

We really enjoyed the breakfast which is hung on your door at 7:15am that consisted of warm, fresh pastries. In the fridge in our room there was cheese and spreads for the breads and pastries along with juice, coffee and tea. On the last day of our stay we had to take a very early train to the airport (4am) and we informed the front desk we wouldn't be able to enjoy our bag of pastries since we will have to leave early. They gave us some snacks that night that we munched on at the airport and on the way home. A very nice thing for them to do!

They also recommended a restaurant in the area, about 4 blocks from the hotel called "Mother's". I HIGHLY recommend anyone try this place! Delicious stone oven baked sourdough pizza and beer. (They take VISA too!)

We hope to return there next year if not sooner. We really enjoyed our stay!

Room Tip: If the upgraded rooms are bigger I would suggest getting one of those. The next time we stay we wil...

Stayed there for 2 nights. Very nice and helpfull staff. Very nice getting the breakfast on doors in the morning. Still hot if you are up early in the morning.
My consern is that the double bed at the normal room not are more than 140- 150 cm (55-59 inch)wide and veeery soft. I'm 194 cm (6"3) and some kilo to much. My wife is normal size with normal weight.
But we slept awfull. Thru the night we ha to said to each other, Lets turn to the other side now. We had to move around at the same time so we could stay in the bed at the same time. Not much sleep that night. The bed size was the normal at the hotel. 140 cm! In US this is a singel bed.
Next day we complain and get a better junior suite. As we had to pay a lot more for. Nice and wider bed. Nice room on the street level. Not to recomment to open up the windows, because of people in the street. In this room they have put in an aircondition system on wall. And thats over your head in the bed. Noisly.

So to the prize we gave, it's not worth it. Have been many times in København, living in the same area on different hotels, but never had problems like this. If you are tiny and small, it will probabely be nice an Ok, but for average and bigger. Stay away.

Room Tip: It's a lot of hotel in this area close to Tivoli, Main Hall and railwaystation. If you live in t...
