Not happy. None of the dishes on the menue are marked with the potential allergy ingredients. One would expect that from a restaurant of this sort.
As we specifically asked for gluten-free dishes we were disappointed that the waiters did not know ingredients, but also receiving dishes with gluten and also having to pay for it. (If you are hyper allergic, this is potentially critical)

Overall a mediocre experience. The one positive was being able to eat outside (inner courtyard). A few dishes were better than average (spinach and samphire, lobster), others were unique but didn’t deliver (squid and mushrooms a good idea but no seasoning of any kind; duck with steamed carrots had carrots that were beautiful but must’ve been steamed for under a minute), and the filet was smothered with a sauce of burnt eggplant skin - and yes tasted like burnt pan residue with the beef good quality but over cooked. Wines were extremely expensive and only a few by the glass selections, so we enjoyed beers.

Service was average- not attentive. Recommend dining elsewhere.

We had read a good review of this restaurant in a Melbourne newspaper prior to visiting Copenhagen, relaxed or fine dining- apparently accommodates all tastes.
It is situated in a very expensive area of Copenhagen and I believe you are paying for the real estate more than anything else.
The restaurant is beautiful, lovely fittings, furniture and ambiance but unfortunately this is destroyed by the staff who are for the most part dressed appallingly. Dirty sneakers, very relaxed shorts, jeans and t-shirts. When you are paying the very high prices asked at this restaurant you expect some pride in appearance. The most revolting thing I have ever witnessed at a restaurant was one female staff member reach deep into her jeans, feel around the anal area- probably to retrieve a G string - in full view of our table- and then go on to handle cutlery and set a table.
The food, well we thought given the relaxed nature we read about we could do several dishes to share- Oh no - we were told this was not recommended and we should do 3-5 dishes each- good for some I suppose but not necessary to eat that much.
The majority of our meal was very good, obviously designed by a very talented person, we enjoyed the combinations, quality ingredients and presentation. The preparation on our visit was not 100% as we found the turbot and ravioli overcooked - or left under the heater too long and the duck to be tough, unacceptable we feel at a restaurant demanding these prices. The desserts were excellent/ average. air on air on air tiramisu delightful, caramelised bread with ice cream not worth waiting for.
Bottled tap water at 45DKK per person a rip off and we were not aware of these prices until the bill arrived
New Nordic Cuisine?? I'm not so sure- save your money- go to Lyon, France, enjoy something very similar, done better, for half the price.

Went here by accident. Didn't realize a bottle of water (non labeled. at that) would cost 90 Kroner (about 17 dollars). When I asked why I was charged for two (there were two of us and had ONE bottle) was told they charge 45 per person. After an argument, they did credit one.

The good:
Spinach app

The Marginal
Mushroom app
Potato entree

The miserable:
Turbot with Ravioli
(One piece was good, one raw)
Asked for them to re-do and got crickets from the tall waitress who was quite unhelpful).

Got charged for it anyway. I guess that's how they do it here.

A definite mistake going to this place. I mean the Spinach was great, the wine overpriced and the service (from our first gal...great....the other....well........)

Then to add insult to injury, there was a "convenience fee" added (30 Kroner) to our bill for American Express........I about came unglued.

Paid the bill and couldn't wait to get the heck away from there.

Not the experience we expected, that's for sure.

Be careful.

two starters and two small main courses (with the expensive water) and two glasses of house wine....almost 200 USD......

Eight of us including children descended on this restaurant after the chaos of the Nyhavn strip of restaurants who all serve much the same fayre and seating for eight being almost impossible.
I’d never heard of the chef but apparently his rather affected way of seasoning food has launched him to stardom. Probably on YouTube or something where anyone can achieve fame of sorts.
I’m not saying this to undermine the menu and execution of exquisite dishes that arrived at our table and delivered by charming and professional cocktail makers and restaurant staff.
Since we were so many we almost took every dish on the menu and enjoyed giving each other tastes of each dish which is apparently in keeping with the ethos of the restaurant.
Each plate of beautiful food was oohed and aahed over before being cleared and without exception, completely cleaned.
The kids loved it. Us more mature kids did too.
